Story behind my early ideas

I always ahad a fascination with the ability that blind people have to survive without their vision, the way they go about doing basic daily activities, such as getting dressed, cooking, going out to do groceries shopping amongst other activities.
My former nany, was dignosed with diabetes, later on in life she was also dignosed with catarats in her both eye, she had to go under surgeries to save her vision, but the worst happend, sadly she was completely blinded in result of the surgery and having diabeties.
A few years later she past away, the last time I seen her she told me that what kept her living a life independently inside the house was the memories of how her house looked like, the knowledge of the placement of all things in the house, in her mind everthing remained the same colour, so she knew when she touched certain things, she visiualised in her mind as the colour and apperance of that specific item before she was blinded.
So in a way I dedicate this project to to my amazing nany.
May you rest in peace, keep smilling down nd watching over me!!!
Love you
